Participants explore the landscape through a short group discussion on what they're currently trying with generative AI.

Real examples from across the sector — how organisations like yours are using AI to draft policy briefings, write member communications, summarise reports and automate repetitive admin.
We look at what's genuinely saving time, and what's still more hype than reality.

Prompting vs Agents
We look at the two main ways to utilise generative AI tools.
We learn how to create an advanced prompt to give the best possible output. Then we look at how agents can revolutionise the way that we carry out repetitive tasks.
Both sections have an exercise that all attendees take part in.

Risks and limitations
Data privacy, accuracy, compliance, everything your team needs to know to use AI safely and responsibly.
We keep this practical rather than theoretical, focusing on the risks most relevant to charity and non-profit work specifically.

Strategy, implementation, and a focus on your organisation
We close by looking at how to develop an AI strategy, how to start implementing AI at your charity, and finally we have a group discussion where we come up with ideas on where to go next with your AI usage.
