AI workflow lab:
Everyone's had an idea for where AI could help, and most of them never go anywhere. This session makes your team turn that idea into something real before they arrive, then builds and tests it live, so they leave with a working use case, not another notion for the list.
-
2.5 hours, live and interactive
-
Requires pre-work: each participant submits one real problem or idea from their role at least three working days beforehand, using a short template we provide
-
Delivered online or your office (England, devolved nations and Republic of Ireland covered on request)
-
Run by Alex Reid, a CPD-certified generative AI trainer, with 16 years' experience in the non-profit sector
-
Some prior AI experience helpful but not essential - our other course are good preparation
-
Use case template and a written summary of every case built in session included
£550
What we cover

1
From vague idea to defined problem
We take the ideas submitted beforehand and sharpen each one into something specific and testable, before any building starts.
2
Live build: idea to working draft
Turning two or three submitted ideas into working prompts or simple workflows, built in the room, not talked about in the abstract.
3
Testing against real material
Running each build against real documents or data from participants' own work, so the result is honest, not a demo.
4
Deciding what's worth pursuing
A quick framework for judging which tested cases are worth rolling out, which need more work, and which to shelve.
5
A roadmap and an owner
Leaving with a short list of next steps, who owns each one, and what "done" looks like.
Your team has AI ideas. They just don't have the time to test which ones are actually worth pursuing.
-
People raise "we should use AI for X" in meetings, and it goes nowhere
-
Nobody's had the time to find out if their idea actually works before committing to it
-
Good ideas and bad ideas get the same amount of attention, because nothing's been tested
-
Leadership wants evidence before signing off budget or staff time, and nobody has any
-
Staff don't know whether their idea is realistic or a dea end until someone tries it
The Transformation
Before: "We should use AI for our volunteer onboarding" gets raised at a team meeting, everyone nods, and nothing happens.
After: The same idea leaves the session as a tested, working prompt or workflow, run against real material, with a clear view of whether it's worth rolling out.
